This project was a complete rebuild of a site that was first designed decades ago, but still stood the test of time.

The tech stack used was Next.js with Payload as a CMS. Payload's 3.0 version allows me to use it in the same app, without it being deployed elsewhere. It's connected to MongoDB to provide the actual database, and deployed via Coolify on Hetzner.

It's a pretty basic site when you first look at it, but it uses quite a lot of Next.js features, like metadata generation, static generation of dynamic routes, cache invalidations, sitemap generations, all while being aggressively cached on Cloudflare (hitting >80% cache rate).

This was a joy to make since I only had basic requirements, and was left to design things as I seemed fit. Feel free to give it a visit and check it out.
